Update –Missing Person/ Parental Abduction Investigation – C16-127423
A Canada-wide Warrant has now been issued for the arrest of Sandra GIESBRECHT, 44yrs, for the charge of Abduction in relation to her two children.  The Winnipeg Police Service is continuing to request the public's assistance in locating the mother, Sandra GIESBRECHT, 44yrs, and her missing children, daughter, Montana GIESBRECHT, 11yrs, and son, Josh GIESBRECHT, 9 years.   These missing children were last seen in the area of St. James near Lumsden Avenue on the evening of Monday, June 20, 2016.  At that time, they were observed getting into a 4 door white car. 

Montana GIESBRECHT, 11 years, is described as a Caucasian female, 4'5" in height, small build, and short dirty-blonde hair.  She was last seen wearing a yellow Minion T-shirt, a white blouse over top and black Capri leggings. 

Josh GIESBRECHT, 9 years, is a Caucasian male, 4'2", long dirty-blonde hair, and small build.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweater overtop of a grey t-shirt with a basketball picture on it and blue sweatpants.

These children are believed to be in the company of their mother, accused, Sandra Giesbrecht, at this time.

The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for the wellbeing of these two children and are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
