Serious Assault Investigation - C16-208816
On October 6, 2016 at approximately 3:10 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to 300 block of Springfield Road regarding a serious assault that just occurred.
   
An injured individual was located suffering from critical injuries. Members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service transported the injured person to hospital for further emergency medical care.  
   
The investigation is in its early stages and interviews are ongoing.
   
No further details are available at this time. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
