2017  Dufferin Hockey / Learn to Skate Program
On March 15th, the Dufferin Learn to Skate Program will be completing their fifth tremendously successful year. Accomplishing such incredible success comes directly from a community based approached with support from everyone involved.

The Winnipeg Police Service and Police Cadets have partnered with Dufferin Elementary School, Hugh John MacDonald Junior High, Pinkham Elementary and Freight House.  The main goal is to keep our youth engaged in a positive, healthy atmosphere.

At 1:00 p.m. participants will be walking with the Dufferin Hockey/ Learn to Skate group, starting at Dufferin School (545 Alexander) and finishing at Pioneer Arena on Logan.

At 1:20 p.m.participants in the Dufferin Hockey/Learn to Skate Program will engage in a Skills Competition to show case there on ice abilities. Once this is completed there will be a Community skate with anyone who wishes to participant.
   
At 2:15 p.m.depart back to Dufferin School Gym for Pizza and refreshments (Generously donated by CNDC)

Metals will be awarded to participants and there will also be coffee and hot cholate (all donated by Tim Hortons)
 
We hope we can count on your support to show the students and the Community that we all really do "Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk"
