Wanted - Manslaughter: C17-161171
The Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit is requesting the public's assistance in locating the following male:
   
Jason Scott WOODHOUSE, 23-years-old, of Winnipeg

 
   
He is described as Indigenous, 6', 300 lbs, with short black hair and brown eyes.
   
On July 21, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 700 block of Selkirk Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition; however, he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
   
As a result of his alleged involvement in this matter, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of WOODHOUSE.
   
Anyone with information regarding Woodhouses whereabouts or any information related to this investigation is asked to contact Homicide investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
