7th Annual Tip a Cop Fundraiser

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017 uniform members of the Winnipeg Police Service will be celebrity servers at all 10 Winnipeg area Boston Pizza Restaurants. The event takes place between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Officers will be raising funds for the University of Winnipeg Opportunity Fund which provides scholarships to inner city youth in memory of injured and fallen police officers. The scholarships provide opportunities for inner city youth to continue with post-secondary education at the University of Winnipeg.

To date, the event, combined with other fundraising efforts has raised approximately $150,000.00.

This year's servers will include Superintendent Scot Halley at the City Place location.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend any of the 10 Winnipeg area Boston Pizza's and support this very worthwhile cause.

Thank-you!
