PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED

The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU), which consists of both WPS and RCMP Members, is requesting assistance from the public in locating Quentin Allan SUMNER, who is wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for breaching his release conditions. 

40-year-old Quentin SUMNER was declared a Long-Term Offender in 2005 following a conviction for Sexual Assault, Choke to Overcome Resistance and sentenced to a five year long term supervision order.  In 2007, following another conviction for Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement, Choke to Overcome Resistance, the Judge extended the Long Term Supervision Order to 10 years.  SUMNER is assessed as a high risk to re-offend both sexually and violently.   All females are at risk.  SUMNER did not return to his approved residence and is currently unlawfully at large.

SUMNER is described as an Indigenous male, 5'9", 246 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.
